RELAY FOR LIFE
Centennial Park, White Rock – 7:00 pm. Opening Ceremonies. The Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is a celebration of survival, a tribute to the lives of loved ones and a night of fun, entertainment, friendship and fundraising to beat cancer. Relay For Life involves teams of 8 or more people who participate in an overnight non-competitive relay. Participants take turns walking, running or strolling around a track. FESTIVAL OF ARTS
Mind And Matter Gallery Presents The 32nd Annual “Arnold Mikelson FESTIVAL OF ARTS� . From 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Festival has grown to be one of the largest art exhibitions in the area welcoming thousands of patrons. Three acres of beautiful gardens filled with over 100 artist’s creations. TOUR DE WHITE ROCK
The 2005 Tour de White Rock, part of the Road BC Cup Championship Series, includes a grueling Hill Climb event. Cyclists and spectators can enjoy the White Rock Muffler Hill Climb event on Friday July 22rd, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The exciting shoulder-to-shoulder sprints of the Tech Shop Criterium Circuit are set for Saturday, July 23th, at 3:00 pm, followed by the Women's Race. The race weekend will wrap up with the renowned Tour de White Rock Peace Arch News Road Race, which takes cyclists through the beautiful landscapes of lower White Rock, and along Semiahmoo Bay. Community of Lights Events Society Presents Spirit of the Sea Festival, 2004 information.

Saturday. Elks Pancake Breakfast -- by the Museum. Children's Parade -- children dress up their tricycles, bicycles, carriages, animals and whatever. Ronald McDonald McMagic Show. Official Opening & Aerobatics Show by Langley Flying Club -- main stage by the White Rock. Kids Sandcastle Competition on the beach in front of the 'White Rock' east of the Pier. Continuous Stage Entertainment on the beach at the 'White Rock'.

The Teddy Bear Picnic -- Children aged 10 and under come with their teddy bears for a fun time at the beach.
